3 So Abraham got up early in the morning, saddled his
donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son
Isaac; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and then
he got up and went to the place of which God had told him.

-As church workers we should be a good example to the
congregation. Let us practice and strive to be on time
because God deserves the best of everything (that includes
our time).
How to facilitate Sunday Service
• Presiders/ Facilitators should have the ability to make the
gloomy atmosphere lively.
• They are the who directs the whole service.
• They should be the first one to invite the tangible Presence of
the Lord/ Holy Spirit.
• They must be aware and sensitive to when the Holy Spirit is
already moving in our midst
• They must know when to cut or continue the testimony
portion.

• Follow the A.C.T.S pattern
• Do not make your prayer redundant
• Content of prayer must be aligned with its context

• Remember that worship is not music alone. It is not about motion too
• Praise and worship is a platform, a vessel that will lead us to the
heavenly realm.
• We are called to worship God in Spirit not in EMOTION.
• Presence of God doesn’t have to do with your choice of song or who
worship leader you want.
• It doesn’t have to do with the background of the writer of the song.
• “It doesn’t matter if you like what song is being played or even who is
leading worship. You have to make the choice to enter in to God’s
presence no mater what.”
Praise & Worship (what is meant
with Worship in Spirit and in Truth)
• Worship is not about getting goose bumps or how a
certain song makes you feel. Worship is about your
obedience to the Word of God and your desperation to
know your Savior more. Worship is about surrender.
Most importantly, worship is not about you. When you
find yourself seeking out a particular style of "worship
music" because of the way it makes you feel, you’ve
missed the point entirely. Worship is meant to bring
you closer to the Lord.
Ushering Ministry (the
Doorkeepers)
• An usher is a spiritual ambassador for the local church –
God’s ordained and organized body of believers. The usher
serves as a “first representative” of Jesus Christ for a worship
service. From the tabernacle in the Old Testament to the
temple and synagogue in the New Testament, God’s presence
and the teaching of His word is of supreme importance
• Ushers in the tabernacle and temple were called doorkeepers.
The psalmist understood the importance of ushers when he
said, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand
elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my
God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”
Ushering Ministry (the
Doorkeepers)
• The disciples acted as ushers on many occasions. They
directed people who came to hear Jesus speak or be
touched by His healing hands. On one occasion Jesus
gave a sharp warning to the disciples who tried to keep
children away from Him. On another occasion, Jesus told
the disciples to organize a large group of over 5,000.
Jesus supplied the unending loaves and fishes, but the
disciples served the hungry multitude as ushers.
Spiritual Qualification of Ushers
• Ushers in church aren’t just door holders and plate-
passers. They serve in a spiritual role and therefore
should exhibit some spiritual characteristics. The
qualifications of an usher aren’t clear in the Bible, but
there are some qualities that great ushers will have—
That is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
The Importance of Discernment
• Remember this is a gift, so you must ask God
for it.
• It is necessary for all Christians but it also plays
a vital part in the Sunday service.
• It is important to discern the Presence of the
Holy Spirit

• AS PART OF SUNDAY SERVICE
PROGRAM, YOU MUST BE A VESSEL OF
GOD’S PRESENCE
• MAKE IT A GOAL TO LEAD GOD’S
PEOPLE INTO HIS PRESENCE—
EXPERIENCE HIS SHEKINAH GLORY.
• ABOVE ALL DEVOTE TIME FOR PRAYER.
