Physic Hello!!I Am Thomas and I Will Explain You About The History of Astronomy

The first model of the solar system was geocentric, with Earth at the center. This was later replaced by the heliocentric model proposed by Copernicus in 1543, which placed the Sun at the center based on his observations of star movements over many years. His model established that the Sun, not Earth, was the center of the known planetary system.

FIRST MODEL OF
THE SOLAR SYSTEM

The first solar system  model

was the geocentric model
where the earth was in the
center and the rest rotates it
clearly people made it cause
of course they see the sun
going around it
THEN HOW DID PEOPLE
K N O W T H AT T H E S U N I S
IN THE CENTER?

• Well people discovered it in 1543 that’s a long

time!! Then how did they find it without space
shuttles? Well, they simply did it by recording
the star systems and the stars were moving too
then a guy called Copernicus studied the stars
for a long time and made new a model called
heliocentric model where the sun is in the
middle and the others surround it.
