1. Christmas Jumper Day
• Yes, there is a day dedicated to Christmas jumpers!

• This year it’s on Friday, 11th December.

• People in general, organisations, businesses and schools find


their most festive jumpers and wear the jumpers for the day
instead of normal clothes or uniforms, to raise funds for charity.
2. Gingerbread City Exhibition
• It’s in London, in the Museum of Architecture.

• Architects design buildings, parks and public spaces, then


bake them out of gingerbread – this year the theme is
“imagining the future city”.
3. Christmas Sausage Dog Walk
• It’s on 15th December. Hundreds of dachshunds (usually known as
sausage dogs) and their humans gather in Hyde Park, London, to
celebrate the season.

• Last year, there were over 500 dogs on this special Christmas walk!
