Write a fictitious letter of application for a


summer internship position in a City law firm
which specialises in civil litigation. Explain what
you have learnt through work experiences and
volunteering (real or made-up) and explain how
they make you a suitable candidate.

should be a focus in your letter.
• Use examples from the course with specific
details – this shows your knowledge and skill.
• Discuss in work experience/ volunteering – it
can be made it BUT realistic!
