SOP For Marine Claims
Step 1: Client should inform SecureNow Insurance Broker Pvt Ltd on Mail to
[email protected] with below mentioned details:
1. Subject Matter Insured / Commodity. ( Along with Invoice Copy and BL/LR/Airway Bill)
2. Expected Loss Amount
3. Loss date
4. Cause of Loss
5. Loss Location, Contact person's name and no available at loss location.
We (SecureNow) will register the claim with Insurer and will arrange for the survey.
Surveyor will prepare Immediate Loss advice and will submit the same to insurer. Along with the same
surveyor will raise List of Requirements to SecureNow.
Documentation as per the nature of claim and additional documents may be called for by surveyor /
Insurer.
Once the documents are submitted surveyor will prepare final report and assessment of the claim on the
basis of documents and their observation at the loss location. Assessment will be shared with Client for
their consent on the same.
• Adjucation of Claim: Once the consent on assessment received from Insured,
surveyor will submit his final report to Insurer. Insurer will study the report and take the final
decision on the basis of the facts and will proceed further.
• Payment: Post scrutinizing all the documents and survey reports insurer will proceed for
the payment.
