Photosynthesis Experiment: (Effet of Light Intensity, Temprature, and Hydrogen)

This experiment analyzed the effect of light intensity, temperature, and carbon dioxide on the rate of photosynthesis. It was hypothesized that the photosynthesis process would increase at higher temperatures, light intensities, and carbon dioxide levels, as evidenced by more oxygen bubbles. The experiment found that as light intensity, temperature, and carbon dioxide levels increased, the number of oxygen bubbles, and thus the rate of photosynthesis, also increased, supporting the hypothesis.

A. Aim/objective

To analyse the effect of light intensity,

temprature, and carbon dioxide on the rate
of photosynthesis.
B. Problem

Does the temprature, light intensity, carbondioxide

affect photosynthesis process?
C. Hypothesis

Most chemical reaction happen faster when

the temperature is higher.
The photosynthesis process will be change
faster in higher temperature, light intensity,
carbondioxide. It can realize if the bubbles
of oxygen is many.
D. Variables

Control Variables :
water, plants
Indenpendent Variables :
Light intensity, temperature, carbondioxide
Dependent Variables:
Total of bubbles
E. Apparatus and material

Apparatus:
Beaker glass
Inverted funnel
React tube
Dim lamp
Drop pipette
• Material:
Hydrilla
Water
Sodium hydrogencarbonate [NaHO3 ]
F. Procedure
[about temperature and light intensity]
Set Beaker glass, Inverted funnel and react tube become
this

Put the dim lamp beside the apparatus, turn on it.

Arrange the distance between lamp and apparatus
(For the first distance 20 cm, 10 cm, 5 cm)
Arrange the distance between lamp and aparatus ( for
the first distance 20 cm )
Waiting until ten minutes
Calculate the sum of bubbles
Check the temperature
But kept constant the other factor ( water supply, CO2
concentration )
[About Carbondioxide]

Set Beaker glass, Inverted funnel and react tube become

this

Put the dim lamp beside the aparatus turn on it

Give one drop of sodium hidrogencarbonate
Waiting until ten minutes
Calculate the sum of bubbles
Repeat until twice again, but with the second
experiment give two drop, and third experiment three
drop.
But kept constant the other factor ( water supply, light
intensity concentration )

G. Analyze

From the data above, we can know if the light intensity,

temperature, carbondioxide increase the photosynthesis
procces will increase too it can be know with the total of
the bubbles that prodoce.
H. Conclusion

So, from the data analize above we can conclude that the
hypothesis is true. The light intensity, temperature,
carbondioxide was affect the photosynthesis procces.
