Training Process - LDC - 2020

The document outlines Eni's training process which involves defining a training plan with the line manager, raising a training request at least one month before the course, and obtaining approvals from various parties. For ECU courses, the employee self-registers through Eni Campus. For external courses, the training request goes through Eni Campus for EIRL approval before the employee can self-register. Following completion, the employee shares evidence of certification within 30 days and completes an end of course questionnaire.

Further information

Please note:

• All training should be based on business needs and should be related to the employees’ development with Eni, and
are subject to approval by EIRL management.

• ECU courses should be considered first and, only if courses are not suitable or unavailable, a search with external
providers can be carried out with the support of Local HR and/or EIRL L&D Team.

• Early submission of a training request (at least one month in advance) is highly recommended to receive timely
approval. You should not contact the training provider to book a place on the training course before the request has
been authorised. An advance payment to attend a training course by an external provider should not be made
without receiving an approved Training Request Form from EIRL L&D Team, as the employee may be at risk of not
being reimbursed for the training costs.

• Cancellation of training request: if for any reason you are not able to attend an ECU or an external training course,
you are responsible to inform your Local HR and EIRL L&D team at least 7 working days prior to the course
started.

Training request – making a training request
