The TRAINER QUALIFICATION
LEVEL 1 consists of competencies a
TVET trainer performing functions of
trainer and assessor must achieve.

A TVET trainer is a person who


enables a learner or a group of learners
to develop competencies in performing
a particular trade or technical work.
After this training program you will
competent to be a:
– TVET Trainer
– Training Facilitator/Coordinator
– Competency Assessor
What is a TVET Trainer?

A TVET Trainer is a professional


who enables a learner or a group of
learners to develop competencies to
performing a particular trade or
technical work.
What is a Competency Assessor?

An assessor is an individual
accredited and authorized to evaluate
or assess competencies of a candidate
applying for certification or any one of
the purpose of assessment.

TVET Trainer is one of the most


critical components in ensuring
quality-assured delivery of TVET
programs.
TVET Trainer Requirements
To attain the appropriate National TVET
Trainer Certificate (NTTC) Level

– NC Level of the qualification appropriate


to the training program being handled
but not lower than NC II
– Trainers Methodology Certificate (TMC) I
– Industry work experience as maybe
provided in Section 3 or Respective TR
