Robotic Workshop by Slidesgo

This document discusses a bomb disposal system using a robotic arm and vehicle controlled via an Android application. The system allows bomb technicians to remotely detect, disarm, and dispose of explosives from a safe distance. It includes a night vision camera to allow viewing in low-light conditions. The robotic system is designed to enter high-risk areas in place of humans. Hardware components include a Bluetooth module, motors, sensors and a wireless camera. Software uses Arduino programming to control the robotic movement and functions. The system is intended to help bomb disposal squads, the military, and personnel handling hazardous materials operate more safely.

Bomb Disposal

With Night
Vision
To detect , disarm and dispose of
explosive threads
Introduction
 Bomb disposal robots cannot perform contextual
decision-making or operate by themselves.

 Much like unmanned vehicles, as they are

remotely controlled by a human operator from
afar.

About The Bomb Disposal
These EOD robots or bomb disposal robots are controlled by a bomb
technician.

• This innovative system is made for operations which

involve high risk for humans to enter, especially for some
criminal case and may prove very beneficial for military
area for spying purposes.
• This system makes use of robotic arm as well as robotic
vehicle which helps not only to enter an area involving high
risk but also to pick whatever object it wants to.
• The whole system is controlled via android application.
• The system sends commands to the receiving circuit
mounted on the vehicle through android device application.
About The Night Vision Camera
The faculty of seeing in the dark, especially when the eyes have
become adapted to the low level of light.

• The system also includes night vision camera which will not
only allow viewing whatever will be recorded in day time but
also during night.
• It has a unique feature of Automatic Motion detection with a
minimum range of 100m transmission distance without
interference in the block.

Software Application
Structure, values and functions are three main
parts of Arduino programs. Here Arduino programs
are written for controlling movement of robotic arms
and rotation of motors.

• Keil µVision IDE

• MC Programming Language: Embedded C
Conclusion
● The Wireless Bomb Disposal Robot has been designed in such a way that it can cater to the needs of
the bomb disposal squad, the military, the police and also for the personnel who handle radioactive
materials.
● It has countless applications and can be used in different environments and scenarios.
● For instance, at one place it can be used by the bomb disposal squad, while at another instance it can
be used for handling mines.
● While another application can be to provide up to date information in a hostage situation.
