Blockchain Project

Blockchain has the potential to provide more transparency and reliability in global supply chains. Any information uploaded to a blockchain by supply chain partners is stored across nodes in a distributed ledger, ensuring all partners have visibility into transactions. This allows products to be tracked from production to delivery. Key benefits include increased transparency, reduced costs, strengthened security, and the ability to detect fraud and counterfeits. Various industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing are exploring blockchain applications for supply chain use cases.

Application of

blockchain in supply
chain

Introduction

Blockchain has stepped into it to provide more smoother and reliable communication in the overall
supply chain globally.

As we are aware that Blockchain is based on cloud having digital ledger which stores all the information
of the transactions happening.

Any information which is uploaded by several partners in a blockchain will be saved and replicated across
different nodes in the series of blocks.
It ensures that all the information is stored after collection from different vendors and so that all the
partners are in sync of the relevant information or transaction going on which ensures that the product
is reached to the required destination within stipulated time.
End-to-end Blockchain enabled Supply Chain

• A blockchain can provide more transparent and

accurate tracking of the supply chain information.
• It will help to reduce several costs associated in
the overall supply chain as if all the organizations
start using a decentralized record of all the
transactions which can track the information right
from the production process to final delivery to
end user.
• This will ensure more transparency and visibility
to both the consumer and the business
• It eliminates the frauds happening and reduce the
counterfeit of products.
