SHORT STORY
After going through this lesson,
you are expected to:
1. write a SHORT STORY
(fiction/nonfiction) with its
complete elements
2. realize that writing is fun and
will confidence in writing,
 SHORT STORY is a piece of
prose fiction that typically can be
read in one sitting and focuses
on a self-contained incident or
series of linked incidents, with
the intent of evoking a "single
effect" or mood. It is crafted
from its own right.
REALISTIC FICTION is a story that tells
about characters and events that are
SIMILAR to people and animals in real
life. It can be a short story, novel, fairy
tale and fable.

NON-FICTION refers to factual stories

that are based on real people and true
events. It can be a news, speech,
history, biography and essay.
