Drills are not only fun, they
also promote discipline. Self-
control and teamwork are vital
factors in the proper execution
of commands. Uniformity of
commands and their practice
are important to the unity of
the organization as well.

In a drill, it must be realized that the
member comes to drill to be drilled, and thus
results will never be obtained by marching
round the hall, or by casual and sloppy drill.
When it is presented and carried out well,
drills can be attractive to the member.

affects other forms of activities one
engages in. Discipline, perseverance and
excellence are not limited to drill activities
but spills over to other engagements and
commitments.
