What should we do before update?

1. (C) Provide the S/N of the target unit to us;


2. (S) Check information (software and hardware)
and do the preparation work;
3. (S) Send Software to you through a good method;
4. (C) Get the software, back up data and update the
machine.

Attention before upgrading

Confirm that the target machine is


working normally, USB port and USB
drive is working normally.

Confirm there is no files in the USB


Disk, copy upgrade files into its root
directory.

UPGRADE FLOW CHART
Boot to [Exam] page

Insert USB disk ， enter [System Update] page

[Update Software] ， restart

[Update Config File] ， restart

Verify the new version & pull out the USB driver,
upgrade succeed

This chart is for adept engineer reference only


Switch on and wait until [Exam] interface
press
Enter the correct upgrade password,
click [OK] button

The process will take about 7 minutes

After update, choose Exit and back to the EXAM screen, then
remove the USB disk and reboot the target unit;
You can press set key to choose the option
After the system boot up to the EXAM screen;
Plug the same USB disk to the unit USB port;
Press
INSTALL CONFIG FILE
Click the option Update config file
Keep waiting until the process finished

Remove the USB driver


and reboot target machine
CHECK THE [UPDATE CONFIG FILE] & [UPDATE
RAMDISK] VERSION
CAUTION:

DO NOT shut down the system when the update is on going.

DO NOT pull out USB drive when the update is on going.

After finish updating, ensure [Update Config File] and [Update RAMDISK] are the
same version, otherwise the system may work abnormally.
