Past Continuous

The document provides information about using the past continuous tense in English. It defines the past continuous as using "was/were" plus the verb plus "-ing" to describe an action that was in progress in the past. It lists five common uses: 1) to describe ongoing past actions, 2) parallel past actions, 3) actions occurring at a specific past time, 4) interrupted past actions, and 5) repetition or irritation in the past. Students are instructed to create past continuous sentences for different fantasy characters and draw/color each sentence.
