        INTRODUCTION

 Electronic voting (also known as e-voting) is voting


using electronic systems to aid casting and counting
votes.

 E-voting is an electronic system that allows a voter to


record his or her secure and secret ballot electronically.
 In the E-voting system there are main three processes

1.  Identification of voters

2. Casting the vote

3.  Counting the vote


        ABSRACT

  The development in the web technologies given growth to the new application that

will make the voting process very easy and proficient. The E-voting helps in
providing convenient, capture and count the votes in an election. 

  An online voting system is a software platform that allows groups to securely
conduct votes and elections.    
        

  High-quality online voting systems balance ballot security, accessibility, and the

overall requirements of an organization's voting event.

Ø  The e-voting system helps the user to cast the vote without visiting the
polling booth. 
        ONLINE VOTING

  Internet voting or online voting is often described as remote electronic voting,


it describes the possibility to cast the vote over
the Internet.

 The vote is cast in an uncontrolled environment.

 Such voting channels have been used in political election in Estonia, Switzerland &
Norway.
  SYSTEM DEFINITION

 The Main purpose of the E-voting system to overcome some major problems. Like 
: - Time management ,Vote Counting , etc. 

 At the same time we conduct the election across the country.

 The application provides authentication measures in order to avoid fraud voters


using the OTP and there is also fingerprint authentication .

 In the System, the voting data are securely store on digital platform. 


  SYSTEM ANALYSIS

  This System is used by two type of user(Module)

1. Voters
2. Administrator
  1. VOTERS

   When Voters entered the site and  they see the login page .

   Voter Id Card must be linked with your Aadhar Card. So first, the voter 


  link there Voter Id card with the Aadhar Card.

   After that process voter are go to the  login form . And fill that form. And
verify OTP .
 When the OTP  Verification is done the voter enter the details page and see their
details.

 After that Voter enter the fingerprint authentication page and they are verify their


finger print.

 And the last page voters will give the vote .


  2. ADMINISTRATOR

  The Administrator is  maintain the whole system.

  And see and publish the voting result


  REQUIREMENT OF E-VOTING

 Eligibility and authentication - only registered voters must be admitted.

  Uniqueness - no voter may cast his vote more than once.

  Accuracy - voting systems should record the votes correctly.

 Verifiability - it should be possible to verify that all votes have been


correctly accounted for in the final tally, and there should be reliable and verifiably
authentic election records.
  Secrecy – no one should be able to determine how any individual voted

  Minimum skill requirement for voter

  Minimal requirement of equipment


  ADVANTAGES

 Faster counting and delivering of election results.


 Increased trust in elections  as human error is avoided.
 Increased voter turnout, especially when internet voting is involved.
 Cost reduction when applying e-Voting system.
 Easier vote marking and casting as the voting experience helps to avoid errors.
 Vote remotely from home or other locations using internet voting.

 Online voting allows people who are unable to reach the polling places to vote.

 e-Voting reduces the chances of accidental or intentional variations in vote counts


by reducing poll worker direct interaction with ballots or counts.

 e-Voting and online voting reduce voter errors and the chances of voter
fraud, increasing electoral integrity.
