We work along the whole route that refugees take into

Europe, as well as in the countries they are fleeing.
Along the route
In Turkey, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Serbia and along the route
refugees take, we’re making sure children and their families
have:
• food,
• water
• shelter
• warm, waterproof clothing
• hot drinks to protect them from the cold.

At our centres children can access medical help and washing

facilities, and contact friends and family. We offer legal
advice and guidance on seeking asylum, and we look out for
vulnerable children.

Rula’s story
Conventions of a leaflet

When an airstrike hit Rula's school in Syria, her friends were

killed, but she survived.
Her family sought safety in northern Syria. For three years
they were trapped in their home because it was too dangerous
to go out. They had no electricity and little food or water.
Rula and her family escaped to Greece in a boat with 50 other
refugees. “I know we were lucky because last week some
people drowned,” she told us.
We’ve created safe spaces where child refugees like Rula can
learn and play.
