1) The lesson compares and arranges decimal numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least using place value and symbols like <, >, =. 2) Decimal numbers are compared by looking at the digits in the tenths, hundredths, thousandths place etc. and arranged by placing numbers in order from smallest to largest decimal value. 3) Examples show arranging decimals from 0.23 to 0.28 ordered least to greatest, and 0.9 to 0.4 ordered greatest to least.
