BIAS AND PREJUDICE


• To determine biases, listen well and ask yourself if the
author, writer or commentator omits something. Is there
information that should have been cited or given but is
not there?
• Be discerning and listen well if there are words that are
too sweeping or general. Check if the views are only true
to one side or one party.

DETERMINING BIASES
• Be attuned to words or propaganda styles used.
• Ask yourself about the underlying motive or agendum
given for such statement.
• Listen more to materials or articles that are derived from
scholarly or credible sources. Find out the credential of
the person or persons who have provided the details or
information.
