stresses and challenges in his/ her life.
Factors that Affects Mental and Emotional Health
• These can be due to traumas and serious losses
in early phases of life.

Social conditions in which a person lives are the


most important characteristic for good mental
and emotional health.

Feelings of Hatred are usually developed due to


negative thoughts and even sometimes because
of side effects of medications.

CHARACTERISTICS of a person with good
mental and emotional health :

1. Posses a sense of contentment and well-


being. - An emotionally healthy person always
has a passion of living, to laugh and enjoy along
with others or the ability to enjoy life and have
fun.

conditions is a must.
-Should keep up the spirits high and must be
capable to deal with stresses of life.

meaningful activities.

temperament are affected by genetics and family history.

- aspects related to one’s physical health can directly
impact one’s mental health like sickness, diseases, and
injuries.

- what we put in our bodies can impact how we feel,
think, and behave.
- over consumption of alcohol, drugs, and other toxins
can adversely affect the brain and contribute to personality

- it strongly influence of our mental health and some of
the more noticeable contributors include ways of
understanding life situations, including stressors or
traumatic events.
