INTRODUCTION
In America, many adults lack the proper nutrients that their body requires to be
healthy. Through the standard American diet that can consist of fast food and other
empty calorie meals, it is common that someone is deficient in a certain vitamin or
mineral. To prevent malnourishment and deficiency from occurring, many will use
supplements.

SUMMARY
Over the course of this presentation, we have learned about dietary
supplement. We explored the differences between vitamins, minerals, and
naturals herbs. We learned the many benefits that are associated with
proper supplementation. Lastly, we learned about the risks of dietary
supplementation.
