.This is an act of levying war against the Philippines or


adheres to her enemies, giving them aid or comfort within
the country or elsewhere (Article 114, RPC).

.It has been held that the crime of treason may be


committed either a single or similar intentional overt acts,
different or similar but distinct, and for that reason, it
may be considered one single continuous offense (Article
129, RPC)

What is MISPRISION OF TREASON ?

This act makes the perpetrator an accessory


to the crime of treason whereby the
perpetrator, who is not a foreigner (Filipino)
and owes allegiance to the country, conceals
or fails to disclose within the soonest possible

information regarding any conspiracy against
government (Article 116, RPC).

This is an act which involves the


procurement of sensitive and
confidential data or information
relative to the defense of the country
and discloses the same to a foreign
government (Article 117, RPC).

This involves any person, who in times

.Elements: 1) The offender is a public officer or employee; 2)


He detains a person; 3) The detention is without legal
grounds.
