WEEK 10 SOCIAL INEQUALITIES Is the existence of uneven opportunities and rewards for a diverse social positions or statuses within a group or society Social inequalities are correlated also to social capital, gender inequality (women and LGBT), ethnic minorities, and global inequality, etc. GENDER INEQUALITY- about job employment, assigned committees and work assignment, opportunities and priveleges ETHNIC MINORITIES- is a group of people who differ in race or color in national, religious or cultural origin from the dominant group. GLOBAL INEQUALITY- refers to inequality between countries, as compared to global inequality, which is inequality between people across countries.
