Hierarchy of needs theory:Abraham Maslows Hierarchy of need theory The theory states that within every human being there exists a hierarchy of five needs: Physiological ,Safety ,Social, Esteem, and Self actualization.

Theory X: Assumptions :1. Employees inherently dislike work. 2. Since they dislike work they must be coerced. 3. Employees avoid responsibilities and seek formal direction whenever possible. 4. Most workers place security above all other factors and will display little ambition.
