Ruiz Shrine
• San Lorenzo Ruiz Church
in Bangued is one of the
oldest churches in Abra
built during the turn of
the 19th century. It’s a
heritage structure with
red clay brick details on
its facade, nave, and
twin belfries. It is also
known as the Shrine of
San Lorenzo Ruiz. The
locals call it the “Campo
Santo Church” as a
cemetery is located
behind it.

• Allabang Cave is
located in Luna,
Apayao Philippines.
It’s a great place for
spelunkers, as the
Allabang Cave is
filled with huge
quantities of guano.

Darew Ancient Ruins Of Civilization
• Located at the top of the mountain west of Kapangan. It commands a
vantage view of the coastline to the west and fertile valley to the east. For
many years, the people lived in peace and prosperity.
Apo Anno Cave
• is believed to be the
first leader to be
mummified in
Benguet due to his
reign marked with
peace and
prosperity during
the 12th Century.
Baguio
Cathedral
• The majestic church
located on top of a hill in
the heart of the city, it is
one of the more familiar
icons and most visited
landmarks of the city. Its
beautiful rose-colored
structure is distinguished
from other churches in
the Philippines by its twin
spires.
Bell Church
• It is an important religious
and cultural site for the local
Chinese Filipino community
and one of the tourist sites of
both La Trinidad and the
neighboring city of Baguio
featuring in local films in the
1970s until the 1990s.

bones, Opdas Cave
Mass Burial, 500_1000

Town, Located about
300 meters from the
municipal building.
Considered as one of
the biggest burial caves
in the municipality, it
has 200 skulls and
bones neatly piled on
ledges reminiscent of
Opdas Cave the catacombs of Rome.
Tinongchol Burial
Rock
• There are two burial sites at
Benguet. These are the Tinongchol
Burial Rock, Timbac Caves, and
Opdas Cave. Here, century-old
mummies were kept in huge jars or
makeshift coffins. The
mummification practice by the
ancestors made it possible for some
cadavers to remain intact; some have
their tattoos evident up to now.
Mt. Pulag
National Park
• Mount Pulag (or sometimes
Mount Pulog) is the third
highest mountain in the
Philippines. It is Luzon’s
highest peak at 2,922 meters
above sea level. The borders
between the provinces of
Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva
Vizcaya meet at the
mountain's peak
Colorado Falls
• The Colorado Falls in Tuba has
been a favorite site of Baguio
residents for some time now.
Three giant falls drop into a
natural pool almost 10 feet at its
deepest. You could actually
swim in Colorado Falls as the
water is very clear and there are
basic facilities in the area.

Ambongdolan Caves
• The Ambongdolan caves
(Paterno and Bengaongao
Caves), situated in a
roughly 18,000-populated
municipality of Tublay, is
slowly attracting visitors
because of what it offers
and of its proximity to
Baguio City.
