Crossing Industries

Culture is not uniquely a concern for the tourism industry. While cultural sensitivity, language skills, and knowledge of local history and culture can help tourism professionals succeed, culture impacts many other areas of society as well, such as art, language, music, cuisine, religion, and social norms. Culture shapes human beliefs, values, and behaviors and influences how people interact with one another across different industries.

4. What is a digital native and a digital immigrant? What are the
application you have in your phone? Why did you install them?

Digital natives refer to individuals who were born and raised in the digital age, and
are therefore highly proficient in using digital technologies such as computers,
smartphones, and the internet. They have grown up with technology as an integral part
of their lives and tend to have an intuitive understanding of how to use it.

On the other hand, digital immigrants are people who grew up before the advent of
digital technologies and have had to adapt to the use of digital tools later in life. They
may struggle with some aspects of digital technology and may not be as comfortable
or fluent in using it as digital natives. I installed apps like Instagram, Facebook and
Messenger. These apps are used for communication in order for me to reach out to
other people
