Furthermore, Factors influencing career choice can
be either intrinsic or extrinsic of both ( Hewitt 2010 ) In
taking a Career path, one of life’s major decisions will be
involved. According to Boyer “ the shape and excellence
of Students, life may rest on the result. The result of
what they chose can either help them or will hinder their
future.
The department of education has made the
historic implementation of shifting from a 10-year
basic education curriculum to the kinder to 12
programs ( k – 12 ) in phase. The added two–year
Senior High School years equip students with
knowledge and skills that will help them prepare
better for their chosen path.
As a part of the program, We were conducting
Surveys to determine the preferred career choices of Grade
12 ( EPAS ). This survey is an important part of the
school’s efforts to provide students with the necessary
information to make informed decisions about their future
career paths.
The results of the survey will be used to improve the
school’s career guidance program and to provide students
with the necessary support to achieve their career goals.
The study will use a quantitative research approach to
analyze the data collected from the Survey. The Survey will
be conducted using a questionnaire that will be distributed
to grade 12 ( EPAS ) Students in Molugan National High
School.
1. To know the preferred career choice that Grade 12 EPAS can take after
graduating from Senior High School.
2. To identify the factors that influence grade 12 EPAS Student’s career choice
in Molugan National High School.

Significance of the study
1. Teachers. Teacher can draw career preferences to the forefront,
in reflecting on students’ preferences, clarifying career
preferences, summarizing and encouraging student career
preferences.
