PROJECT PLAN

I: TITLE OF THE PROJECT : FLOWER VASE MADE OF USED COLORED PAPERS


II: OBJECTIVES:
A. To help our community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that can contribute to
climate change.
B. To make use of waste materials into a useful thing at home.
C. To cultivate creativity and design using recycled material.

V: PROCEDURE
1. Cut Paper Into Pieces
2. Fold the Paper Strips
2.1. Take one strip of any color and fold it in half longitudinally.
2.2. Once again fold it in half, so that the width of fold is 12.5 mm,
having 4 folds.
2.3. Now fold at middle and then at 1/4th portion to form like a square.
2.4. Finally fold edges inside and make a "V" shape as shown.
3. Start Connecting the Folded Strips
3.1. Take one green folded strip and one red strip.
3.2. Insert light green strip through the green one as shown. This will
form a "L" shape with both the colored strips.
3.3. Continue connecting strips in a zigzag manner.
3.4. Connect 9 pieces of pink and 9 pieces of red to form one
length of chain.
3.5. Fold the chain to a round shape and insert one end to another to
close the ring.
3.6. Make 4 such rings with folded strips.

4. Close the Bottom


4.1. Place one ring on a piece of card stock and draw the circular outline.
4.2. Cut the card stock to size and attach the bottom with glue.
4.3. Glue on edges of each ring and join them together.
4.4. Allow the glue to dry.
