Clean S/R Probe and Aspiration Probe

Dirt on the S/R probe and aspiration probe may cause contamination and carryover, and affect results. Clean this
part
to prevent contamination.
Recommended Frequency: Everyday
Operator time: Approximately 5 minutes.
Precautions: Wear appropriate protective gloves and be careful not to damage the
probe;
All power switches must be OFF.
Materials Required
Clean Gauze obtain locally

Daily
Maintenance
Procedure:
Clean S/R Probe and Aspiration Probe
 1 Turn off all power switches.
 2 Move the probes to an area allowing easy operation(Move out the area of the cleaning cells)
 3 Wipe the external surface of the probe with an alcohol-soaked gauze. Then wipe the probe with a gauze
soaked in distilled or deionized water.
 4 Switch on the device and use it after normal startup.

Weekly Maintenance

1.Clean Reaction Tray

Liquid leakage on the reaction tray may result in adhesion among assay cups, so it is necessary to clean
this component on a regular basis.

Recommended Frequency: Every week

Operator time: Approximately 10 minutes.
Precautions: Wear proper protective gloves;
All power switches must be OFF.

2.Clean the cleaning pool

There are a cleaning cell used to flush the reagent/sample probe and a cleaning cell used to flush the aspiration probe.
Dirt in the cleaning cells may result in residue. In order to prevent contamination, the cleaning cells should be
cleaned weekly.

Recommended Frequency: Every week Approximately

Operator time: 3 minutes.
Precautions: Wear proper protective gloves; It is forbidden to use alcohol to wipe;
All power switches must be OFF.

3. Measuring Cell Maintenance

Contamination in the measuring system may reduce the accuracy and precision of sample tests or even block
the measuring channel. In order to keep the measuring liquid channel clean and maintain the performance of
the measuring cell, the measuring cell should be cleaned at least once two weeks or 2500~3000 tests.

Recommended Frequency: Every two weeks

Operator time: Approximately 1 minutes.
Analyzer time: Approximately 15 minutes.
Precautions: Wear proper protective gloves.

Quarterly
Maintenance
1. Replace the pinch valve hoses(pinch tube)

Liquid leakage may be caused if old pinch valve hoses are used, further affecting the accuracy of pipetting
volume. Therefore, the hoses should be replaced at least once every three months.

Recommended Frequency: Every 3 months

Operator time: Approximately 10 minutes.
Precautions: Wear proper protective gloves.

Materials Required
180mm pinch tube 2 pcs

QC frequency not enough

We need do each items every two to three times per week.

QC is to monitor both machine and items, not only machine.
For keeping the QC sample, if it’s liquid QC, we can just keep them in refrigerator, 2~8 ℃ in 28days,
For lyophilized QC powder, after re-dissolve, aliquot them in to EP tube and -20℃ in 28days.
Measuring cell maintenance

Internal
structure of
measuring cell

Measuring cell is the most important part of machine, it must be in a good state, clean and healthy.
In order to make it clean and healthy, we must doing the measuring cell maintenance every two weeks or
over 2,000 tests.
