Clean S/R Probe and Aspiration Probe
Dirt on the S/R probe and aspiration probe may cause contamination and carryover, and affect results. Clean this
part
to prevent contamination.
Recommended Frequency: Everyday
Operator time: Approximately 5 minutes.
Precautions: Wear appropriate protective gloves and be careful not to damage the
probe;
All power switches must be OFF.

Maintenance
Procedure:
Clean S/R Probe and Aspiration Probe
1 Turn off all power switches.
2 Move the probes to an area allowing easy operation(Move out the area of the cleaning cells)
3 Wipe the external surface of the probe with an alcohol-soaked gauze. Then wipe the probe with a gauze
soaked in distilled or deionized water.
4 Switch on the device and use it after normal startup.

Quarterly
Maintenance
1. Replace the pinch valve hoses(pinch tube)
Liquid leakage may be caused if old pinch valve hoses are used, further affecting the accuracy of pipetting
volume. Therefore, the hoses should be replaced at least once every three months.
Materials Required
