Find the mean, median and mode for each of the
following sets of data.
a. 9, 10, 12, 14, 14, 15, 18
b. 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 10
Mode – is the measure or value which occurs most
frequently (repeated) in a set of data. It is the value with the
greatest frequency. In other words the highest repetition of
a same number in a data set is considered to be mode for a
data set. A set of data is bimodal or multi- modal if two or
more values occur more than once. There is no mode if no
value occur more than once.
Assignment:
Arrange in increasing order and calculates the mean,
median and mode/s of each of the following sets of data.

a. 5, 6, 6, 4, 8
b. 3,5, 6, 7, 4
c. 1, 3, 2, 5, 9, 1, 7, 6, 6, 8
d. 5, 6, 0, 6, 8, 2, 9, 4, 6, 8, 2, 3
e. 10, 10, 12, 14, 15, 9, 13, 13, 12
