What is Dissolved Gas Analysis?

A quantitative analysis of all dissolved gases in the

transformer oil. The analysis is done after the extraction of
the gases and a gas chromatography thereafter.

The aim of the analysis is an early determination of aging

and functional problems of the transformer.
