The document discusses several predictions and theories about what could potentially cause the end of the world in 2012: 1) The Mayan calendar ends in 2012, and since they were accurate in calculating lunar cycles, their prediction of the world ending in 2012 could also be accurate. 2) Solar storms predicted to peak in intensity in 2012 could bombard the Earth with dangerous radiation and knock out power grids. 3) The Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator, when turned on for its first major experiment in 2012, could create microscopic black holes that destroy the Earth. 4) The Yellowstone supervolcano is overdue for an eruption, and the pressure is building - it could explode in 2012

Peoples have rumours of the end of days Nostradamus has predicted it for centuries Even the mayan calendar ,thousands of years old ,ends on

this one specific date

Web-bot project

Mayan calendar
Sun storms The atom smasher The bible says Super volcano

The first mob to predict 2012 as the

end of the world were the Mayans

Thousands of years ago they

managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, its likely theyve got the end of the world right as well

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a

startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and its supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, its been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest itll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012 .

Scientists in Europe have been building the worlds largest particle

accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that its properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. Theyre predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball .

If having scientists warning us about the end of

the world isnt bad enough, religious folks are

getting in on the act as well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ch'ing, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings

Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple its sitting on top of the worlds biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and were many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

Web Bot, or the Web Bot Project,

refers to an Internet bot software

program that is claimed to be able to predict future events by tracking keywords entered on the Internet. It was created in 1997, originally to predict stock market trends. it also predicts that the earth will face

many natural calamities on 2012

French astrologer who wrote cryptic predictions whose interpretations

are still being debated (1503-1566) Michel Nostradamus

Some years before there was an rumour was earth

going to end by the Satan The symbols like 666-999 In December 31 -1999 many of them feared of that and not enjoying there birth of new year (i.e.) 21st century Many of the religious people spend their time by praying Many of them involved in illegal activities bcoz of the world going to end Finally it never happened..????? About 1999 - 2000
