CHICKASAW NATION DRESS CODE POLICY AND THE GENERAL
DRESS CODE

The Chickasaw Nation shall ensure a standard of dress is met by an employee


who presents a professional appearance to our visitors, co-workers, and
others. Professional business attire is our culture at the Chickasaw Nation. (The
Chickasaw Nation, 2021)

All clothing worn by employees will be neat, clean, and appropriate for
professional work. We rely on the good judgment of employees to dress in a
businesslike manner. Extremes in dress are not appropriate. (The Chickasaw Nation, 2021)
PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE

Professional business attire refers to conservative office wear that


we traditionally associate with employees in industries such as
law, banking, finance, or government. (DiGiacomo, 2023)

• Gauge type must be solid and either clear or nude.
• Shaggy, unkempt hair
• Hair should be clean, combed, and neatly trimmed or arranged.

• Dyed/colored hair will be natural

• Beards, sideburns, and mustaches should be neatly trimmed and


groomed

• Head coverings may be worn providing they conform to the best
