Welcome to ENGLISH III
OBJECTIVE:
To continue with the students’ development of both
receptive and productive skills in the English language
acquisition, so as to reach the A2 level, according to the
standards of the CEFR.

This course is mainly practical, and it has been designed to


develop the four language skills: listening, reading, writing
and speaking, thus allowing the students to understand
and participate in different everyday working and social
life situations.

The students will be able to use frequently used everyday


expressions related to the areas of most immediate
relevance.

Evaluations

2.- TRABAJO DE PROCESO 1: 35%
3.-TRABAJO DE PROCESO 2: 35%
The development of 100% of the mandatory activities on Rosetta Stone is
a compulsory requirement to attend the formal evaluation (Solemne).
SOLEMNES:
The student who does not attend any of the solemn evaluations will be graded with a 1.0, regardless
of the reasons that caused the non-attendance. You do not have to justify. This grade may be
replaced by the grade obtained by the make-up test at the end of the term.

ONLINE PROGRESS:
The online work are the activities that the student perform individually on Rosetta Stone must
complete 100% of the mandatory work or progress activities

ORAL AND WRITTEN ASSESSMENT:


Process assignments are oral and/or written assignments and/or activities that are performed in the
classroom or outside the classroom and are designed to evaluate the students' oral and written
production and interaction. Each of these grades represents 35% of the final course grade, resulting
in a total of 70% of the final course grade.
Passing requirements

The student will approve the course by


obtaining at the end of the academic
period, a grade equal or higher than
four point zero (4.0).

Seventy-five percent (75%) of


attendance to classroom activities or
virtual classes (synchronous) will be a
requirement of approval.
