Abstract
RFID technology is an automatic wireless
identification system that works by the help of
active and passive cards and a reader. In this
work we have tried to ease the problem of
manually taking attendance with the use of RFID
technology. This system will help the authority
manage the attendance system in a more
organized, efficient and time saving manner.
Introduction
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) are increasing
nowadays. This technology is applied in various fields
transportation, agriculture, industries etc. This method
is used to automatically capture student's attendance
by flashing their student card at the RFID reader.This
project uses RFID technology for making a note of every
student entering in a classroom and also calculates the
time resides in a class.
Existing system
A major problem facing in the education institutions is
time consuming manual attendance.
The existing conventional attendance system requires
students to manually sign the attendance sheet every time
they attend a class.
Proposed system
Our goal is to solve this problem using RFID technology.
This technology is used to retrieve or storing the data in the
RFID tags.
This RFID based attendance system has a storage system the
store the unique identification number student or employee.
This attendance system is very friendly for commercial
purpose.
