PSID:SIH1495 Problem Statement Title:: Student Innovation Ministry/ Organization Name/ Student: Student Innovation Innovation: Student Innovation Theme Name:Smart automation Team Members: Harsh, Aftab, Niraj, Deepanshu, Thiri, Anushka. IDEA APPROACH/DETAILS For Indian urban, semi-urban, and rural cities, our project intends to develop a transformational Smart City Dashboard. This ground-breaking platform enables in-the-moment contact between citizens and government authorities, enabling citizens to report and pinpoint issue with key services (electricity, water, etc), accidents, and traffic conditions. We assure the accuracy of reported data while reducing fake news using user identification and sophisticated algorithms. Government authorities can diagnose problems and act quickly by visualising them on an interactive map. This approach encourages efficiency, accountability, and openness, which fosters better governance and raises the standard of living for locals TECHNOLOGY STACK: • Frontend : React.js as frontend framework and d3.js for data visualization • Machine Learning Library: TensorFlow for AI and ML tasks, such as fake news detection. • Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLTK for text analysis and NLP tasks. • Backend development: Node.js and RESTful API for fetching the data • Mapping and Geospatial Integration: Google Maps API for map visualization. • Database: MongoDB • Real-Time Communication: Socket.io and Web socket Integration Idea/Approach Details Project Use Cases: Project Dependencies / Stopper: 1. Service Issue Reporting: Citizens report utility supply 1. Data Sources: Availability and reliability of data sources problems, and authorities respond promptly. (e.g., utility companies, emergency services, weather APIs) are critical for real-time updates and accuracy 2. Emergency Response: Accidents are reported for quick dispatch of help from emergency services. 2. Government Collaboration: Cooperation and support from local government authorities are essential for data 3. Traffic Management: Real-time traffic updates and access, integration, and official response to reported construction area information aid commuters. issues. 4. Weather & City Information: Access weather forecasts, 3. User Adoption: The success of the project depends on population data, and employment rates citizens actively using the platform. Effective marketing 5. Community Engagement: Encourage citizen and outreach are needed to encourage participation. participation in local governance by providing a platform 4. Data Security: Ensuring data privacy and compliance for discussions, feedback, and collaboration on city issues with relevant regulations is crucial. Any breach could and improvements. lead to legal issues and loss of trust.
