Sexsual Crime
Issues: in less than 6 years since 2018 until now cases of
sexual violence against women have increased every year,
counting since 2021 the number of cases of violence
against women has been recorded as 10,247 cases, of
which 15% is sexual violence. from these data the victims
are women and children . The Central Statistics Agency
(BPS) reports that there are 1,209 villages in Indonesia
that have cases of rape and sexual crimes throughout
2021, with the most villages having cases of sexual
violence, namely East Java province with a total of 99
villages.
Opinions or responses regarding the issue of sexual violence:
1) Nanda
the problem of sexual violence must be given more attention to improve
security
2) Ulfa
It is hoped that the community, especially families or parents, will take
better care of their children or children to avoid sexual harassment and provide a
correct understanding of their body parts.
3) Frida
In order to reduce the occurrence of sexual violence, it is recommended
that women be trained to be able to protect themselves, increase education about
the problem of abuse of girls so that they are ready from the start to fight offenders.
4) Alya
There are still many victims who find it difficult to complain and defend
themselves, so parents are expected to communicate more often with their children
about various things that children experience in their daily life, both things that
children experience in the school environment and in the community environment.
Pro / Con Argument
Sexsual Crime
•Pro arguments: This statistic is supported by statistics
issued by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2021 and
a report from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and
Child Protection (PPPA).
•Argument againt(con): related to victims and
perpetrators of sexual violence which are not explained in
BPS statistics and the 2021 PPPA report, because it is
possible that men can also become victims of sexual
violence.
Conclusion or Recommendation Sexsual Crime

there are still many victims who find it difficult to


complain and defend themselves, so parents are expected
to communicate more often with their children about
various things that children experience in their daily lives,
both things that children experience in the school
environment and in the community environment. In order
to reduce crimes of sexual violence, it is recommended
that women be trained to be able to protect themselves,
increase physical exercise to protect themselves
Fight monsters that make you insecure. That way sexual violence
will decrease because there are people who dare to fight monsters
