Authoritarian Leadership
Authoritarian leadership, also known as autocratic leadership, is a
management style in which an individual has total decision-making
power and absolute control over his subordinates. An authoritarian
leader makes decisions on policies, procedures and group objectives
with little or no input from his or her team members or followers.
Consultative Leadership
It is built on mutual respect between leader and followers. In this
type of relationship, the leader solicits input and feedback from
followers before making decisions. This two-way
communication helps to build trust and foster a shared sense of
purpose.
Enabling Leadership
One who focuses on creating a culture where people can thrive,
grow, and develop. What makes them stand out from others is
their mindset, focused towards facilitating and enabling, rather
than directing.
Servant Leadership
The servant leadership style is based on the idea that leaders
prioritize serving the greater good. Leaders with this style serve
their team and organization first. They don't prioritize their own
objectives.
