• Emerging - Those who have just started their
ICT-in-education journey;
• Applying - Those who have developed a new
understanding of the contribution of ICT to
learning;
• Infusing - Those who have integrated ICT into
existing teaching, learning and administrative
practices and policies; and
• Transforming - Those who have used ICT to
support new ways of teaching, learning and
administration.

• Should not forget that technology is merely a tool for

• Should not use technology unless it is improving what
they are really doing.
• Need to bear in mind that although technology is all
around us, not all students know how to use it for
learning.
• Teacher need to upgrade their knowledge and plan
their teaching accordingly.
