HYPERLINKS IN A
PRESENTATION

Hyperlink
- is a shortcut from one slide to another
slide, program or file
- It can be a text or an object such as
picture, graph, shape or wordart.
- Text and objects that are linked are
usually colored and underlined.
Different Ways in Inserting Hyperlink:

1.Creating Hyperlink to a Location in a


Current Presentation
2.Creating Hyperlink to a Specified Slide in
Another Presentation
Steps in Inserting Hyperlink to a Location in
the Current Presentation:

1.Select the text or object you want to represent


in the hyperlink.
2.Click the Insert Menu and then Hyperlink or
click the Hyperlink Button
3.Under Link to, click “Place in this
document”
4.Locate and select the presentation that
contains the slide you want to link to
5.Click ok
Steps in Inserting Hyperlink to a Specified Slide
in Another Presentation

1.Select the text you want to hyperlink


2.Click insert hyperlink
3.Under Link to, Click Existing File
4.Locate & select the presentation or the file
that contains the slide you want to link to
5.Select the file that you want to link to
6.Click ok
