WHAT IS QUANTUM COMPUER ?
• A quantum computer is a machine that performs calculations based
on the laws of quantum mechanics, which is the behavior of particles
at the sub-atomic level. Quantum computing takes advantage of the
strange ability of subatomic particles to exist in more than one state
at any time.
Evolution :
“Isaac Chuang”
In 1998 Isaac Chuang of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Neli
Gerstenfeld of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT),and
Mark Kubinee of the University of California at Berkeley created the
first quantum computer (2-qubit)that could be loaded with data and
output a solution.
• A quantum computer is nothing like a
classical computer in design you can’t for
instance build one from transistors and
diodes. In order to build one,a new type of
technology is needed,a technology that
enables “qubits” to exist as coherent
superpositions of 0 and 1 states.
History
• Can be expansive.

Conclusion
• With classical computers gradually approaching their limit, the
quantum compuer promises to deliver a new level of computational
power.
• But the very thing that makes them powerful, their reliance on
quantum mechanics, also makes them extremely fragile.
• We are in a time of high uncertainty about quantum world, its
effects, and laws that runs the Quantum Realm.Hence its right to say
that quantum technology is in its baby stages.
