USEFUL MATERIALS
Materials considered useful when it serve a purpose. There materials may have
properties such as durability, resistance to water, heat & acid, flexibility, elasticity,
hardness and many more.
Useful Materials
 Can be recycled.

 Can be repaired.

 Something can be recovered from the material.

 A material that serves it purpose.

 Can be used for other purposes.

 Can be dumped straight into a landfill.


Harmful Materials
• Materials that bring hazard.
• broken glass can caused cuts or injury
• Toxic substances may also be present in the things you commonly used such as
paints, cleaners, fumes, gel, or powders etc.
Harmful Materials
 Materials that are toxic/hazard to us.
 Materials that can cause injury.
 Materials that cannot be dumped straight into a landfill.
 Can pollute the environment easily.
 Take too much time to decompose.
 Cannot be reused or recycled.
