ABSTRACT

Securely sharing personal data like text and images is an important communication issue in
today's environment. Steganography is a very important methodology for secure data
transmission in an open network. Steganography is the process of hiding secret messages and
images within non-text files like image files, audio, and video. Through image,
steganography shares our data like text, and images secretly by hiding them in the image.
Normally it looks like an image but some data is hidden in it. Once they received it they can
again decrypt the image and can access data in it. In this paper, we survey existing work using
different techniques for image steganography and give a general introduction to cryptography.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

 Data privacy is very important for everyone. If any confidential data is leaked it is very danger for
the organizations , persons etc.

 But now a days so many data breaches taking place due to many reasons .So it is important to
transfer data securely by hiding the data.
EXISTING SYSTEM

1)Noclue

Noclue is a Steganography App. It is the practice of concealing a file, message, image, or video
within another file, message, image, or video. Through this App you can hide some Secret Text
Information inside any image file and Reveal them whenever your want.

2)Pictograph

Pictograph is the best steganographic app available for iOS. Send messages and images without
anyone knowing.AES-256 encryption is used in Pictograph when encryption is enabled. This
encryption is incredibly hard to break, so rest assured your message will be safe if you choose to
encrypt it.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

The objectives of the research on image steganography are:

 Hiding the information like text in the image(.jpg)files.


 Hiding one image in another image.
 The files which we made invisible by hiding them , should not be visible to others.
 Only with particular key the receivers can access to the hidden files.
 It must not be found to decrypt the files without secret keys.

 A mobile (or) laptop .

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

 Windows xp/10/11 (or) linux operating systems.


 Node js.
 Visual studio.
 HTML basics.
 Code editor.

CONCLUSION

This project can play out the proposed work like hiding the text in image , image
inside another image and transfers to others by using image steganography . By this
project we can share the information with more security without knowing to others. If
any others download the file they cannot access the secret information without the key
value used for decryption.
