CONJUNCTION

A conjunction is a words
that connect a part of a
sentence, it can connect
words, phrases and clauses
WORD

 Unit of language that can be


represented in writing or speech.
Example

When you go to London, you must try Fish and


Chips.
PHRASE

 Is a group of words that works together in


a sentence but does not contain a subject
or a verb.
Example

My phone is either on the table or in the drawer .


CLAUSE

 Is a group of words that


contains a subject and a
verb that have a
relationship.
TWO TYPES OF CLAUSE

DEPENDENT INDEPENDENT

The correlative conjunctions are either...or,
