Religion - Covenant Project

The Israelites sinned by worshipping a golden calf while Moses was away receiving the Ten Commandments from God. God was angry and planned to punish the people. Moses interceded on their behalf. The people were then instructed to build a tabernacle for worship according to God's specifications. Skilled craftsmen contributed materials like gold, silver, fabrics, and wood to construct the tabernacle and its furnishings. When completed, the tabernacle was assembled as God commanded on the first day of the first month.

the Covenant
Created by: Luca, & Nyzaiah
Exodus 32:1- 34:9
•When Moses was away for too long the Israelites asked Aaron to make
them a new god he took their gold and made a golden calf the people
started to warship the calf instead of God.
•When god saw this, he was furious and sent Moses down the
mountain. :)
•When Moses saw the golden calf, his anger burned hot, and he threw
the tablets from his hands and broke them at the bottom.
•When Moses saw the people running wild, Moses then stood at the
gate of the camp and asked the people if you're of the Lord's side come
to me. The sons of Levi gathered around Moses. Moses told them to
put your sword on your side and tom kill your brother, your neighbor,
and your friend. The son s of Levi had listened to Moses' command and
around three thousand people had died.
•On the next day, Moses had said to the people that they have done a
great sin and he's going up to the Lord to try to make atonement for
their sins.
•Moses went up to Heaven to tell the Lord that the people have sinned
a great sin. Moses told the Lord that the people became gods of gold.
The Lord told Moses that when the day comes, He will punish them for
their sins. The Lord sent a plague on the people because of the calf.
