INTRODUCTION

 Tux Paint is a software, like paint, meant for drawing and painting.
 It has a number of tools to help you draw and colour
 It also has interesting sound effects.
Lets Explore Tux Paint

 To down load Tux Paint for window, type www.tuxpaint.org/download/windows/


at the address bar.
 On the web page that appears, double click the Tux Paint 0.9.22 installer.exe file.
 It will download on your computer.
 Double click to run the file.
 Now it is installed on your computer.
 Double click to run the file.
Starting Tux Paint

 Click start
 Tux paint
 Tux paint (windowed)
 Double click the Tux Paint icon on desktop.
What you can do on tux paint

 On tux paint you can draw, use your imagination and draw lots of cool
things.

 Click on the tool of your choice to begin drawing.


Very important tools
Main screen

 Toolbar : it is on the left of main screen. It contains drawing and editing tools.

 Drawing canvas : it is at the centre of main screen. You draw your figures here.

 Selector. It is on the right side of the main screen. The selector shows various sizes of brushes
available.

 Colors : a palette of colors is found below the drawing canvas.


It has 18 colors
The first 17 are fixed.
18th colour on right is the one that you are allowed to change.
 Help Area : It present at the bottom of the main screen.
