Intelligent Traffic System

This document proposes an intelligent traffic control system for ambulance tracking. The system aims to minimize ambulance response times and ensure safety by prioritizing emergency vehicles using real-time traffic information. It will split traffic dynamically based on data collected from RFID tags on ambulances and the road. The proposed system addresses issues with existing approaches like not working over wide areas or when there is heavy traffic. It outlines hardware requirements like a hard disk, RAM, processor and RFID cameras, as well as software needs like an operating system, programming language and database. Benefits include improved efficiency, enhanced safety, customized traffic control and optimized ambulance routing to reduce response times.

INTRODUCTION
• To improve efficiency , taking real time traffic information as an input and dynamically
adjusting the traffic light duration accordingly.

• It will split the traffic based on the collected data from different RFIDs and ambulance
tags.

• It is a simple base model for controlling the traffic during emergency.

• For application of our base model every ambulance driver and hospitals should use our
application.
LITERATURE SURVEY
India is the fourth-largest car manufacturer globally in 2018, experiencing rapid growth.

The surge in vehicles contributes to longer ambulance response times and a rise in
accidents.

Traffic congestion is a significant issue, especially on less developed roads across the
country.

In response, a real-time system was introduced in 2004, utilizing a dynamic shortest path
algorithm.

The system allocates patients to the nearest ambulance based on severity.

Drivers receive guidance on the least congested route, optimizing emergency response
and reducing delays.
OBJECTIVE

• Minimizing Response Times

• Ensuring Safety

• Enhancing Patient Outcome

• Coordinating with Emergency Services

• Prioritizing Emergency Vehicles

PROBLEMS IN EXISTING SYSTEM

• It does not work in wide area, if there is heavy traffic it can lead to problem.

• If ambulance driver didn’t reject the request it will be waste of time.
