Understanding Harmony in Nature

Interconnectedness, Self-regulation and Mutual Fulfillment

among the Four Orders of Nature
Introduction
So far we have explored our Natural Acceptance
Our Natural Acceptance is for living in Harmony – as an Individual, as a
Family, as a Society…

Is there provision in Nature/Existence for living in accordance with our

Natural Acceptance?
Is it possible to live in harmony as an Individual, as a Family, as a
Society…?

Is co-existence, mutual fulfillment inherent in Nature?

Or
Is the design of nature/existence by way of opposition, struggle, survival
of the fittest…?

We will explore the underlying design of Nature/Existence with

these questions…

Participation of Human Being in Entire Nature
Preservation (enrichment, protection and right utilization) of nature
Prosperity, fulfilment of human needs (in a manner that preserves
nature)

i.e. by:
 Protecting its innateness
 Protecting and enriching its inheritance
 Making right utilization of nature, in line with its activity

(or at least not violating their innateness, inheritance or activity)

14
Participation of Human Being in Entire Nature
To understand the inherent harmony in nature and to live accordingly, i.e.
 To facilitate a conducive environment for the activity (at least not violate it) of all
orders
 To facilitate the innateness (or at least not violate it) of all orders
 To facilitate the inheritance (or at least not violate it) of all orders

Order Human Participation for Mutual Fulfillment

Physical Facilitate its existence by ensuring conducive environment and
Order maintaining / ensuring its constitution (eg. constitution of earth)
Bio Facilitate its growth by ensuring conducive environment and
Order maintaining / ensuring its seed (e.g. seed of rice)
Animal Facilitate care of the body by ensuring physical facility, environment
Order for existence & growth of body. To ensure its will to live
Maintaining / ensuring its breed (eg. breed of cow)
Human Facilitate care of the body by ensuring physical facility, environment
Order for existence & growth of body
Facilitate its will to live with continuous happiness by ensuring
human education-sanskar, participating in developing /
maintaining undivided society & universal human order 16
Harmony in Nature iz—fr esa O;oLFkk
Nature is organised in such a manner that the physical facility required
for any order is available in abundance*

Dependence of any order is on all previous orders

e.g. Bio order is dependent on physical order
e.g. Human order needs the most conducive
environment. Human order depends on
animal order, bio order as well as
physical order

Quantity of units
Physical >> Bio >> Animal >> Human

*Need of physical facility is limited

Availability is also limited but in
A quantity much larger than need
18
Harmony in Nature iz—fr esa O;oLFkk
All orders have definite conduct except human order without right
understanding

In human being, the body has definite conduct

The Self (I) operating on assuming without knowing is the source of
indefiniteness, problem

The solution is to ensure knowing

The natural acceptance is to know,
to be in harmony

For this,
human education-sanskar
Is required

19
Sum Up
1. Physical order – soil, metals etc. Nature = Collection of Units
2. Bio order – trees, plants etc. = 4 Orders
3. Animal order – animals, birds etc.
Relationship of mutual
4. Human order – human beings fulfilment (harmony)

There is a relationship of mutual fulfilment (harmony) amongst these 4 orders.

The first 3 orders are mutually fulfilling for each other. They are fulfilling for
human being also. It is naturally acceptable to human beings to be fulfilling
for all the orders

The role of human being is to realize this mutual fulfilment – For this, all that
human beings need to do is:
1. To understand that mutual fulfilment (harmony) is inherent in nature – we
do not have to create it
2. To live accordingly – then the mutual fulfilment amongst the 4 orders will
be realised

and there is provision in nature for living with mutual fulfilment (harmony)
20
Self Reflection
Self Reflection
1. What are your assumptions about nature? Is it for human enjoyment
or does human being have a role to play for harmony in nature?

2. In a typical day, how much time do you interact with physical order,
bio order, animal order and human order? What is
that interaction (taking, giving, appreciating, fulfilling a
responsibility…)

3. How do you and your family contribute to / participate in maintaining

the order (harmony) in nature?

4. Can you see that units of the physical order, bio order and animal
order have a definite conduct? Can you see that if the conduct of a
human being is in accordance with their natural acceptance, then it
will be definite (because the natural acceptance is definite)?

22
Questions?
FAQ
1. We are told that every living and non-living thing has life (soul). Here you
are saying that only human order and animal order has self. So how can
we find out if there is a self or not in any unit?

2. So are activities like bio engineering, GMO inhuman?

3. In nature the first three orders are already having definite conduct. Why
does human order have to work for definite conduct? I mean why is that
also not automatic or natural?

4. Is solely education responsible for the conduct? Are there any other
factors?

5. In nature we can see that there is survival of the fittest. So doesn’t it apply
to human beings also?

6. Are the problems like global warming a result of human activities only?

Sum Up
Existence is in the form of co-existence. It is ever present
(Existence = Co- Existence = Units submerged in Space)

Every unit in existence is related with every other unit in existence in a

mutually fulfilling manner

Synergy is intrinsic to existence, harmony is inherent in existence – we

do not have to create it, we do not have to construct it

The role of Human Being is to realize this co-existence, this harmony,

this order in existence – For this, all that human beings need to do is:
1.To understand the inherent harmony, the co-existence in existence
2.To live accordingly – to live with the feeling of harmony or co-
existence (and there is every provision in existence for living in
co-existence)
38
Implications
Now we can see that…
Happiness is an indicator, a feedback, that we
- have understood harmony and at all 4 levels of our being
- live in harmony

Unhappiness is an indicator, a feedback, that we

- have not understood harmony and at one or more of the 4 levels
- do not live in harmony of our being

Our role is to make the effort

- to understand harmony and at all levels of our being
- to live in harmony 1. In the Self, as an Individual
2. In Family
3. In Society
Continuous happiness 4. In Nature/Existence

This is our role in existence …

40
Program for Human Being (Our Role in Existence)
Existence is Co-existence

Human Being is by virtue of Co-existence; embedded in Co-existence

All the Human Being needs to do is

1. To understand Co-existence and
2. To live in Co-existence

41
Program for Human Being (Our Role in Existence)
Human beings have two important things to do:

1. To understand the co-existence

1.1. To understand co-existence – Knowledge (ज्ञान)
1.2. To ensure the feeling, thought of co-existence –
Resolution (समाधान)
2. To live in co-existence
2.1. To live in co-existence with human-beings
–family to world family – Undivided Society
(अखंड समाज)
2.2. To live in co-existence in nature
–family order to world family order – Universal Human Order
(सार्वभौम व्यवस्था)
By these two being ensured by human beings, the result will be Undivided
Society and Universal Human Order on Earth, in which Harmony and
peace are very natural outcomes
(and there is every provision in Existence for it)

2. How does this co-relate with the second law of thermodynamics, heisenberg’s uncertainity principle

3. In all this, so far there is no mention of God. What is God, according to you?

5. How did it all start? There is a theory of the Big Bang

6. Are there other planets with human beings?

7. We talk about 4 yugas (kali yug, dwapar, sat yug…). Is that how you also see things? I am asking

The essence of all that exists is co-existence [units submerged in space]

It is ever present, ever expressive, gently unfolding

-as harmony in nature… so every unit is energised, every unit is self

organised and every unit is mutually fulfilling for the other units
(eg. the human body has trillions of cells… each cell is
energised, it is self organised, it recognises its relationship with the
other cells and participates in the larger order (parts of body… whole
body…) in a mutually fulfilling manner)
[world of material]

-as feeling in human-human relationship…

(eg. trust is the feeling of harmony between one self and another
self)
