"I believe that architects should design gardens to be used, as much as the houses
they build, to develop a sense of beauty and the taste and inclination toward the
fine arts and other spiritual values." And further, "Any work of architecture
which does not express serenity is a mistake."

"It is impossible to understand Art and the glory of its history

without avowing religious spirituality and the mythical roots
that lead us to the very reason of being of the artistic phenomenon.
Without the one or the other there would be
no Egyptian pyramids, nor those of ancient Mexico.
Would the Greek temples and Gothic cathedrals have existed?"

commemorate 100 years of the National
Chamber of Commerce but to mark the
beginning of a brand-new era of the new

Concept of this house

It is a blend of traditional elements
of Mexican home style and
modernity. and combines various
philosophical and artistic concepts
in the mid-20th century.
Luis barragán

The sharp of house

The shape of the house is a geometric
pattern modified from a Mexican style
house. The front of the building is flat
so it's impossible to guess the interior
layout. On the other hand, the center of
the house is the garden. surrounded by
high walls except the west This makes
this home like an oasis with high walls
to protect it. "City chaos”
