OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the topic the students will be able to:

1. Distinguish the critical approach used in an excerpt;


2. Apply the critical approach in interpreting book
cover;
3. Realize the relevance of filter or various lenses in
literary interpretations.

understand using the inherent features of text
⮚ Done by being completely objective in analysis
while ignoring external factors
⮚ Disregards the environment, era and author to
focus only on the work itself
⮚ Sees literary work as an object in its own right

⮚ is the most renowned tool for audit and analysis of the


overall strategic position of the business and its
environment.
⮚ Its key purpose is to identify the strategies that will create
a firm specific business model that will best align an
organization’s resources and capabilities to the
requirements of the environment in which the firm
operates.

potential. These weaknesses deteriorate influences on the
organizational success and growth.
