What is EVERNOTE?

It serves as a digital workspace that allows you to store and access your notes, ideas, web
clippings, and files across multiple devices.
Key features of Evernote include note creation, web clipping, organization, searchability, and
synchronization.
By utilizing these features, Evernote provides a seamless and intuitive platform for capturing and
organizing your thoughts, information, and resources. It helps you declutter your mind, stay
organized, and improve your overall productivity.

How to use EVERNOTE?
1. Sign up for an account:
Visit evernote.com or download the Evernote app.
2. User interface overview:
Evernote has a user-friendly interface that consists of various components.
The sidebar: It provides access to different sections like notebooks, tags, shortcuts, and recent
notes. You can easily navigate through your content using the sidebar.
Note list: This displays a list of your notes, organized by date or other sorting options. It allows
you to quickly view and select notes.
Note editor: It's where you create, view, and edit your notes. The note editor provides
formatting options and tools for adding text, images, audio, and more.
How to use EVERNOTE?
3. Creating a new note:
To create a new note, click on the "New Note" button located in the toolbar. Evernote offers
different types of notes, such as text, image, audio, and handwriting.
4. Organizing notes:
Notebooks: Evernote allows you to create notebooks to categorize and group related notes
together. You can create a new notebook by clicking on the "New Notebook" button in the
sidebar or by right-clicking and selecting "New Notebook."
Tags: Tags are customizable labels that you can assign to your notes for further organization.
TASK
1. Sign up for a free Evernote account if you haven't already
2. Open Evernote and create a new note
3. In the note, list your personal to-do items for the day or week
4. To make your list more organized, you can use checkboxes to mark tasks as complete. Simply
click the checkbox icon in the formatting toolbar to insert a checkbox.
5. Once you've completed your to-do list, share the note with me or any colleague for review.
